WHAT IS SMILE-VISION ™

SMILEVISION™ is a widescreen format which wraps the video so that the edges are larger than the center. Avortex Entertainment applies this realistic enhancement to widescreen videos. This lends to having  more perspective.  Give it a try!

  • Step 1: Plug the Chromecast device into your TV’s HDMI port and connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
  • Step 2: Install the Google Home app on your phone (available on the Google Play Store for Android or the App Store for iOS).
  • Step 3: Open the Google Home app, tap on the device you want to cast to, and tap Cast Screen/Audio for Android or Cast for iOS.
  • Step 4: Select your Chromecast device and start streaming content from apps like YouTube, Netflix, or any supported apps.
  • Step 1: Make sure your iPhone and TV (or Apple TV) are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Step 2: Swipe down from the top-right corner of your iPhone to open Control Center.
  • Step 3: Tap on Screen Mirroring.
  • Step 4: Select your Apple TV or AirPlay-enabled TV from the list.
  • Step 5: The screen of your iPhone will be mirrored on the TV, or you can stream content directly from apps like Apple TV+.

Most smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Sony, etc.) support screen mirroring or casting directly from your phone.

  • For iPhones: Follow the AirPlay steps mentioned above if your TV supports AirPlay, or check for a similar mirroring feature depending on your TV brand.
  • Step 1: Get an HDMI adapter compatible with your phone (e.g., Lightning to HDMI for iPhone, USB-C to HDMI for Android).
  • Step 2: Connect one end of the HDMI cable to your TV and the other end to the adapter.
  • Step 3: Plug the adapter into your phone’s charging port.
  • Step 4: Switch your TV to the correct HDMI input, and your phone’s display will be mirrored on the TV.
  • Step 1: Make sure your Roku device and phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Step 2: On your Roku device, enable Screen Mirroring from the settings menu.
  • Step 3: On your phone, open the Control Center (for iOS) or Quick Settings (for Android) and tap on Screen Mirroring or Cast.
  • Step 1: Set up your Fire TV Stick on your TV and connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
  • Step 2: On your phone, open Control Center (iOS) or Quick Settings (Android) and tap Screen Mirroring or Cast.

  • Ensure Your Streaming Website Supports Xbox Browsers: Xbox has a built-in browser (Microsoft Edge) that can be used to access websites. Make sure that your streaming website is compatible with Edge, ensuring it works smoothly on a console.

  • Optimize Your Website for Xbox Browsers:

    • Responsive Design: Ensure your website is responsive and mobile-friendly, as the Xbox interface may have limitations when navigating via a controller.
    • Video Format: Use standard video formats that are compatible with Xbox, such as MP4 (H.264 video codec and AAC audio codec). You may want to check the player to ensure it supports HTML5 video elements for better compatibility.
    • Media Streaming: For smoother streaming, you may also consider using adaptive bitrate streaming (HLS or DASH) to optimize video playback based on connection speed.
  • Install the App for Your Streaming Service (Optional): If your streaming platform is supported by an official Xbox app (e.g., YouTube, Netflix, or similar platforms), you can simply download the app from the Xbox Store, log in to your service, and start streaming. If you have your own app or platform, check whether there’s an official app you can build or integrate with Xbox.

  • Use Miracast or Screen Mirroring: If you have a smartphone, tablet, or PC, you can mirror the content from your device to the Xbox using Miracast or screen mirroring features. This allows you to cast your videos directly to the Xbox without needing a dedicated app.

  • Configure a Media Server (for Private Streaming): If you want to stream your content privately, you can set up a media server on your computer using software like Plex or Universal Media Server. These servers allow you to stream videos from your computer to your Xbox over your home network.

  • Access via Web Browser: If you don’t have a dedicated app, users can access your site directly through the browser on the Xbox. They can simply open the browser, navigate to your website, and stream videos.
